If you’re a coffee-lover, you’ll feel right at home in Colorado. Here are three Denver neighborhoods that know how to brew.

Colorado is home to a thriving coffee scene that goes far beyond having a Starbucks on every corner. Coffee enthusiasts have their pick of locally owned cafes serving up small-batch coffees made in their backyards. And it’s easy to see why. The high altitude in Colorado makes for low and slow roasting, resulting in an extra-smooth cup of coffee.

With so many cafes and roasteries to choose from, where can you start? Whether you’re new to the area or just want a change in neighborhood, we’ve put together a list of Denver neighborhoods with some of the best coffee around.

    Broomfield

    Ink! Coffee

Ink! is one shop with its own hand-roasted coffee line, which you can buy online right now. With their roasting facility in the RINO area, you can be sure your coffee is always fresh and local. Their extensive training program is far beyond the standard chain, so your lattes are always perfect. Stop by one of their locations throughout the Denver area for a Hot Black and White (espresso and steamed milk with dark and white chocolate) or other craft coffee.

    Zoe’s Coffee

Named for the owners’ granddaughter, this family business promises a place for anyone to “sit, sip, and savor.” They use Colorado-based Coda Coffee for all of their drinks and 10 flavors of coffee syrups, all made in-house. Try their signature sour cream vanilla cupcake, a favorite of the brand’s namesake.

    BREW Due South

BREW is a shop for coffee lovers who always want to try something new. Their menu has a rotation of seasonal sips and flavors you won’t find anywhere else. The Charcoal Mocha and Espresso Tonic are popular mainstays on the BREW menu.

    Littleton

    Enchanted Grounds

Nerds rejoice! Enchanted Grounds combines your favorite local coffee with board games and comics. Sip on a specialty latte using Coda Coffee’s beans during your next Magic tournament.

    LaMar’s Donuts And Coffee

This is more than a donut shop. LaMar’s has a long history in this community, having been in operation since 1960. The owner has been making donuts since long before that. Their specialty coffee blends are the result of hand-picked estate coffees from around the world. Try a latte today with a donut from their extensive menu. There’s a reason they’ve been popular for so long!

    Dirt Coffee Bar

Despite the unassuming cottage and truck, Dirt is a coffee shop with a cause. They aim to serve quality coffee, food, and alcohol while hiring and training a neurodivergent staff. This shop is actually a nonprofit that aims to promote inclusivity in the workplace and has empowered over a hundred neurodiverse people with employment and scholarships since its inception.

    Aurora

    Legends Coffee Co.

Located in the Southlands Mall, this coffee shop is proud to be local. Starting from a mobile coffee cart in 2014, Legends how serves coffee, tea, food, and kombucha on tap in their permanent location. They haven’t forgotten their roots, though, and Legends is still available to cater for your local events.

    Sertino’s Coffee

This shop pairs organic coffee with another crowd-pleaser: ice cream! Here you can indulge in house-made sandwiches, ice cream, and coffee drinks in a cozy, intimate setting. The owners aim to create a special “neighborhood” feel to invite locals to stay awhile. Try a Mint Mojito Shakerato Cold Brew with their Huckleberry ice cream sometime.

    Lost Coffee

Don’t worry, there’s coffee to be found here. This shop has locations in Aurora, Littleton, and Castle Rock, where they roast their own coffee to sell in-house and wholesale. This coffee has a social impact. Lost Coffee works closely with independently owned farms to help them earn a livable wage.

We aim to combine superior data analysis with exceptional client experiences. We bring a luxury experience to every community. Knowing the amenities that are important to you, like a thriving coffee scene, will help you find the best Denver neighborhoods with your dream home.
